Fresh blow for Katie Price as ‘Easter panto’ ticket prices slashed after she admits ‘forgetting words’ on stage

KATIE Price has suffered a fresh blow as her ‘Easter panto’ has been forced to slash ticket prices.

The former glamour girl, 46, is set to hit the stage with 90s TV legend Bobby Davro next week.

Katie will take to the stage for two performances of the pantomime Pinocchio on April 14 at The Elgiva Theatre in Chesham.

The show is described as a “hilarious Easter panto with no strings attached”.

But with lots of tickets still unsold, the venue has decided to cut prices.

Theatre-goers get a second ticket half price for every one bought.

Seating charts on the ticket booking site also show large sections of empty chairs up for grabs.

FORGETTING HER LINES

Katie previously admitted to forgetting her lines when starring in the panto, Sleeping Beauty.

Back in 2023, she said: “I am broken, knackered. If I have to read another script line…

“My head is ready to explode. For the past six days I’ve had to learn a full script, dance songs for panto that I don’t know or I’ve never even heard of.”

She added: “On top of that my nerves.

“The stress I’ve put on myself this week is ridiculous. I have ballsed my lines up and had to make some stuff up, so hopefully nobody noticed it.”

Katie Price shares very rare update on co-parenting kids Princess and Junior with ex Peter Andre

Katie has had a hard run when it comes to pantos – back in January the star was called out for “not knowing” the choreography to her routine in Cinderella.

The Sun previously exclusively reported how the glamour model was being paid a five-figure salary for her role as a wicked step sister, alongside best pal and reality TV star Kerry Katona, 44.

She landed the £50,000 payday for teaming up with the Atomic Kitten songstress for the production – which was also held at Northwich Memorial Court.

However, her stint in Cinderella caused a stir.

A video posted to TikTok showed the I’m A Celeb decked out in her panto attire and was captioned: “Seeing Katie Price sing A Whole New World as part of the Northwich pantomime was not on my 2024 bingo card.”

One fan was quick of the track – which Katie released with ex husband Peter Andre, 51, in 2006 – to reply: “Bad singing is mandatory in panto so it doesn’t surprise me.”

One said: “Wow did she even rehearse?”

Another cruelly put: “Omg she’s like a screeching cat Kate can’t sing.”

Another commented on a video showing a separate part of the show and focussed on her dance skills, as they put: “Katie getting the choreography wrong, an icon!”

One then mused: “Is it bad to say that she doesn’t look like she knows any of it?”
