FKA twigs joined Julia Fox for dinner in NYC Monday night in quite the edgy look, showing off abstract face makeup and a hairy bag that brings back memories of a clutch her friend made headlines for in 2022.
The 36-year-old British singer — whose real name is Tahliah Debrett Barnett — rocked a black tattoo-like design extending from her head down her nose as she strutted through the East Village with the “Uncut Gems” actress, 34, at the restaurant Ella Funt.
While it appears like a real face tat, Nylon confirmed the design was created by makeup and prosthetics artist Tilda Mace.
The “Good to Love” singer — whose racy Calvin Klein ad was banned in the UK earlier this year — paired the faux ink with brown eye makeup and berry lipstick, wearing a voluminous black ponytail at the back of her buzzed head.
FKA twigs’ outfit was just as statement-making, with the “Cellophane” singer wearing a brown leather corset with sheer boyshorts over a brown thong.
Robert Pattinson’s ex-fiancée kept the chocolate tones going with over-the-knee brown leather boots featuring square-toed platforms and a hair-trimmed clutch reminiscent of the one Fox carried to the 2022 Vanity Fair Oscars party.
“This is real human hair,” Fox told Vanity Fair of her hairy clutch at the time, later adding, “I think it is. I mean, I think so. I mean, it looks like it.”
While the “OMG Fashun” host’s black bag featured a rather demure trail of hair on one side, FKA twigs went for a bit of a wilder look, carrying a clutch with long strands of brown hair on either end of the style.
As for Fox’s dinner outfit, she went for a wacky look herself, sporting a pair of black pants printed with the name of her astrological sign, Aquarius, adding a sleeveless black top and a hooded head covering.
The actress then headed with Twigs and a large entourage to a listening party celebrating the latter’s forthcoming album, “Eusexua,” which she announced and played for a group in what appears to be a warehouse.
Fox called the music “truly magical,” writing on her Instagram Story, “the whole room was pulsing with electricity and raw emotion.
