Ferne McCann reveals career change after fat shaming ex friend and mocking acid attack victim in leaked voice notes

FERNE McCann has revealed that she is embarking on a surprising new career as a life coach.

The reality star, 32, hit headlines last year after a series of messages were leaked  – in which she fat shamed ex pal Sam Faiers and mocked ex Arthur Collins’ acid attack victim Sophie Hall.

Ferne described it as her “lowest moment” and said she is still yet to share her “full truth”.

The former Towie star has now become a certified life coach after years in therapy.

Ferne told her followers: “I have something incredibly exciting to share with you guys.

“I’ve been quite open about how I have been doing therapy and working on myself for about five years now and that has gone really well.

“But now I have been working with Lydia Kimmerling to become a certified life coach.”

The pregnant star admitted that she’s gone on a journey of “self discovery” and believes her experiences can help women.

“Guys I feel it – I just know that I have something to share, particularly with women where I know my experiences I can help so many people,” Ferne continued.

“And I really needed to go on a journey of self discovery myself and that’s the work that me and Lydia have been working on.

“I’ve needed to dig deep, I’ve needed to really get to know myself fully before I can start helping others.

“So I’m really excited, I’m loving the work.

“It’s mad like learning a new skill. I feel like I haven’t done that as an adult for a very long time.”

Ferne then addressed the response she received from last night’s episode of First Time Mum – where she broke down in tears as she opened up about the scandal.

“To everyone that has taken the time to DM me. I have been going through them and I just feel the love so much,” she said.

“Listen, don’t get me wrong, this series was difficult to film. I’m not sure if you saw me on This Morning yesterday but I said like it’s the nature of the beast with reality TV.

“When things are going well and you’re getting engaged and having a baby and all these lovely things that I get to celebrate with you guys but when the chips are down, you can’t throw in the towel when times are really tough and just be like I don’t want to film anymore.

“So with filming that time in my life I felt incredibly vulnerable but I wanted to take responsibility and share that with you guys.”

In November an anonymous Instagram account, called Lady Whistledown posted a series of voice messages from a woman they claimed was Ferne.

The first voice note showed Ferne supposedly making a series of comments about her former best pals Sam and Billie, allegedly calling Sam a “fat c***”.

“Sam Faiers is a fat c***. Her thighs are so big and I looked really skinny today and… yeah,” Ferne allegedly said.

In a second voice note, Ferne appeared to call her pal Sam a “narcissistic b***h”.

“That’s the sort of girl that she is. She’s just a narcissistic b***h. She honestly won’t care.

“It’s an exact copy. It’s just so sh*t on people that have worked hard to just – because she has a big following. It’s just ridiculous. It’s out of order,” she allegedly said.

Weeks later the account leaked another voice note, where Ferne was alleged to have made comments about her ex Arthur’s acid attack victim Sophie Hall.

In the voice notes, a woman is heard mocking Sophie before adding: “She is one ugly f***ing c***.”

Since the voice notes leaked, Ferne has been very apologetic.

Earlier this week, she publicly apologised again on This Morning for the scandal.

Breaking down in tears, she said: “It definitely wasn’t my finest hour and it definitely was a very difficult time in my life, but I do, I need to take this opportunity to publicly apologise again to those affected, obviously, the words I used were unpleasant and I have reached out privately to those people and it’s very difficult.”

The reality star insisted that she couldn’t share her “full truth” yet as it’s still a “criminal investigation”.
