The onion doesn’t fall far from the tree.
Fans freaked out after Kim Kardashian’s daughter North West shamelessly devoured a raw onion like an apple on “The Kardashians.”
The mother-daughter duo were making sushi and fried chicken in their kitchen when the 10-year-old decided to take a big bite out of an unpeeled sweet onion in Thursday’s episode.
“Can you eat it like that?” Kardashian, 43, asked as her eldest child munched on the pungent vegetable.
“You want some?” North asked her mom while munching on the onion.
“No, thanks. You’re just going to eat an onion like an apple? This is what she does, people,” the Skims founder said, turning to the cameras. “She eats veggies like apples.”
Kardashian proceeded to give North several kisses on the cheek before turning away and exclaiming, “Oh, my gosh, this onion breath is going to make me cry!”
“No, it’s so strong. Oh, my gosh, my eyes are literally tearing. How do you not tear?” the reality star added after her daughter blew her onion breath in her mom’s nose.
North then flashed a big smile before Kardashian high-fived her, telling her, “We’re the best chefs.”
Shocked viewers flooded Twitter to share their reactions to North’s strange onion-eating antics.
“North West eats onions like apples. If that doesn’t explain everything about her as a kid…. lol. A little icon,” one person tweeted.

“That North West child is a special kind. Eating an onion like it’s an apple???” a third wrote.

Earlier in the episode, Kardashian admitted that North marches to the beat of her own drum.
“Kourtney [Kardashian] says North is my lesson on this planet,” Kim said in a confessional. “It means that I’m supposed to learn even more patience. She teaches me patience. She has taught me a lot about life.”

The billionaire businesswoman added that North’s temperament has not changed since she was younger.
“You definitely just come out your own person,” she added.
Kim shares North with her ex-husband Kanye West, from whom she filed for divorce in February 2021. The exes also co-parent sons Saint, 7, and Psalm, 4, and daughter Chicago, 5.
The “Stronger” rapper, 46, married Bianca Censori in December 2022, less than a month after finalizing his divorce from Kim.
