‘Facts Of Life’ star Mindy Cohn says a show revival was ruined by a ‘greedy bitch’ in the cast

Greed of life.

Mindy Cohn called one of her “Facts of Life” co-stars a “greedy bitch” while blaming the unnamed actor for sabotaging a revival of the popular ’80s sitcom.

“We got into talks and we hired a writer. The four of us got together on a Zoom — this was during COVID — and we had meetings with Norman [Lear] about it,” she explained of the potential revival during her Wednesday appearance on SiriusXM’s “Jeff Lewis Live.”

At one point, though, Cohn revealed, “One of the girls went behind [their] backs to try to make a separate deal for a spinoff deal just for herself.”

The “Palm Royale” actress said the move “devastated” the cast. “I’m just saying, for a 40-year friendship and sisterhood, there was a tidal wave of emotion around it,” she added.

That’s when guest Michael Hitchcock chimed in, saying, “There’s always a greedy bitch.”

Cohn, 58, was delightfully surprised by the comment and responded, “You know what … greedy bitch. She was a greedy bitch.” She also high-fived Hitchcock.

While she declined to reveal who ruined the spinoff, Cohn confirmed it was “one of the girls” and suggested that fans could make an educated guess by scanning her social media to see who she has spent time with over the last few years.

Of her three main female co-stars — Lisa Whelchel, Kim Fields and Nancy McKeon — her Instagram page shows that she has socialized with the latter two.

Page Six reached out to reps for the above-mentioned stars but did not receive immediate responses.

Cohn confirmed the “not cute” drama led to some estrangement between the actresses, although time has allowed some of the wounds to heal.

“We didn’t [speak] for a while and now we do-ish, but there’s definitely … it was an ouch,” she explained.

She also confirmed any chance of a “Facts of Life” revival is “very dead.”

“A couple of people can’t move past it, don’t want to move past it. We are not as united. Let me put it that way,” she noted.

“We were united for 40 years over not talking about each other, not doing dirty, not, you know, all for one, one for all. And this kind of wrecked that, which is sad. Really sad.”

“Facts of Life” premiered in 1979 and ran for nine seasons.

It followed Mrs. Edna Garrett (Charlotte Rae), a housemother and dietitian at the Eastland School, who taught a group of friends (played by Cohn, Whelchel, Fields and McKeon) how to solve quintessential teenage problems.
