He described his co-star as “a really down-to-earth kind of guy.
“Without him there isn’t really much of anything. He understands that everyone thinks that his character is a little ‘too cool’ but that’s the whole intriguing part about the show that things fly above everybody’s head. He’s just into his role.”
In 2009, Evan jumped into film and co-starred in Cameron Diaz’s family drama My Sister’s Keeper.
Based on the tearjerking novel by Jodi Picoult, Evan played Jesse Fitzgerald in the Nick Cassavetes-directed film that co-starred Little Miss Sunshine star Abigail Breslin and Alec Baldwin.
‘MY CHILDHOOD’
In July 2009, the General Hospital alum spoke to Philstar Global about getting into show business at the age of 10.
He said: “I never had the same childhood experience with my friends.
“I never had more time with them. However, my childhood was a cool one. I was busy doing the things I love.”
Evan closed with: “I had no regrets because I found my passion for acting early on.”
He wished to branch out his acting career into “the whole serious drama thing. I would also love to do comedy,”
His film and TV work included: Letters from Iwo Jima, Titus, Mad TV, Bones, 24, The Bondage, and Walk the Talk.
