Eva Mendes donned a dress made out of sponges while shooting a campaign for her sponge brand, Skura Style, on Monday.
“I think I found my Oscar dress early this year,” the actress, 49, captioned a photo of the outfit on Instagram. “Is this what they mean when they say ‘clean fashion’?”
In the snaps, Mendes rocked a bright green grown which featured a handful of orange, blue and green sponges fastened onto the bodice.
She paired the look with equally extravagant accessories, such as green sunglasses and chunky gold jewelry.
Mendes finished the fun look with bright pink lipstick, rosy red cheeks and an apparent spritz of red hair spray onto her already-amber tresses.
The mother of two also posted a side-by-side comparison of her finished look next to her inspiration photo, which featured a woman wearing a dress and headdress made completely out of colorful sponges.
“My next red carpet lewk,” she added on her Instagram Story. “Working on the head wrap. And gloves. What else?”
The crafty actress became a brand ambassador and co-owner of the cleaning brand in May 2022.
Additionally, Mendes’ “husband,” Ryan Gosling, is also a big believer in the brand.

Earlier this month, the “Barbie” star, 42, gave his partner’s brand a huge shoutout while doing press for the Greta Gerwig film.
“Eva Mendes makes a sponge called the Skura Sponge, it’s an amazing sponge,” he said during an interview. “It tells you when it’s ready to be changed … the logo fades when it’s time to change it.”
Yet, that wasn’t the only time that Gosling showed love for his “Place Beyond the Pines” co-star while promoting the box-office hit.
During the “Barbie” premiere in Los Angeles earlier this month, the Oscar nominee proudly wore an “E” initial necklace to honor his partner while walking the pink carpet.
The heartwarming pendant, which was in the classic “Barbie” font, matched Gosling’s pale pink Gucci suit and button-up shirt.

While the pair have kept most of their relationship out of the public eye, fans were quick to notice the sweet gesture.
“He loves that lady so much omg. They’re so cute when they’re together,” one person tweeted, as another responded, “i totally respect their privacy but i’m also like *paws* i wanna see you guys more.”
The pair, who started dating in 2011, share daughters Esmeralda, 8, and Amada, 7.
