THE Eurovision Song Contest has revealed the date it will return and the city where it will take place.
Officials today announced the singing competition’s finals will take place on May 11 in the Swedish city of Malmö.

Many fans were delighted with the choice, with the smaller Malmö chosen in favour of the Swedish capital.
One wrote: “Thank you god it’s not again boring Stockholm. Great choice.”

Sweden will have hosted Eurovision seven times after next year’s contest, making them the most successful country to take part, alongside Ireland.
It has been held once in Gothenburg, three times in Stockholm and, after May 11, three times in Malmö.
