Chloe, 28, starred alongside the Lose Yourself rapper and the late Brittany Murphy in the 2002 drama, which pocketed $242.9 million worldwide.

The star has kept fans updated, often sharing snaps of her travels, including trips to New York, Mexico, California, Switzerland and Los Angeles.

Fast forward two decades on and Chloe looks unrecognisable, but the star joked that she still has the same sleek blonde hairdo as her character.

But the former child star hasn’t always had it easy after experiencing a life of “struggle, big problems, pain and weirdness”.

Back in 2020, Chloe posted a snap from the movie of her and onscreen brother Eminem.

She revealed that her family were going through some financial hardship at the time she landed her first big role.

Chloe shared: “When I booked 8 Mile, I had never auditioned for anything before and had 0 ties to the entertainment industry.

“In fact, my mum was at risk of losing our house and didn’t know how we were going to make it to next month.

“When she answered the call from Universal on the new Nokia flip phone that they had given us, I was offered the role of Lily Smith.

“My sceptical and protective mum made Universal Pictures wait 2 days for her to think it over, but once we accepted, our lives changed in an instant.”

She continued: “Filming was fun and local and we were truly too oblivious to the amazing opportunity and talent around us to be starstruck, so for months we filmed during the day and went home to normal life at night.

“After ‘The Untitled Detroit Project’ wrapped, we were flown out to LA for the premiere and saw this exact picture 30ft tall on a billboard while driving down Sunset Blvd in a red convertible mustang, a surreal moment to say the least. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

“At the premiere I met some of the insanely cool women I watched on Vh1 & MTV in the late 90s early 2000s (cough, Xtina, Avril Lavigne, Mya).

“When I think about times like this in my life, it can feel like a fairytale, a little unreal or like divine timing but I want to be transparent about the fact that no ones life path is linear.

“The best and worst times of my life have come and gone despite the opportunities of acting.

“For me, good fortune and unique experiences have co-existed alongside struggle, big problems, pain and the weirdness that comes along with living a ‘normal’ life with abnormal societal expectations.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
“In the end, this film undoubtedly changed the course of my life, I’ll always be grateful for that.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
“Also just realising I have this same hair cut almost 20 years later haha.”

She asked her fans: “Have you ever had something, good or bad, change your life forever?”

The film follows a young rapper in the Detroit area, struggling with every aspect of his life, wants to make it big, but

The film, which contains autobiographical elements from Eminem’s life, follows white rapper Jimmy Smith Jr. aka B-Rabbit (Eminem) and his attempt to launch a career in hip hop.

But things don’t come easy and he faces a series of challenges as he tries to break into the community.

The film gained recognition, winning an Academy Award for Best Original Song win for Lose Yourself for Eminem, Jeff Bass and Luis Resto at the 75th Academy Awards.
