ELLIE Goulding has shared an insight into the past few months of her life with a collection of pictures to mark her return to Instagram.
The Starry-Eyed singer confirmed her split from husband Caspar Jopling in February this year, and has since been spending time in Costa Rica on a ‘wellness break’ to heal and get some sunshine.

In the process, she has found romance with Armando Perez, a surf instructor who is local to the area.
With a new lease of life, Ellie has shared a photo collection of her time in the sun, including two rare pictures of her son, Arthur Ever Winter Jopling, who was born in April 2021.
While protecting the tot’s privacy, the two adorable photos prove he takes after his mum – with one pic showing him playing with a mini sound board while wearing headphones.
In another, the tot is holding his mum’s hand as they wade into the water on the beach together during the sunset.
Elsewhere among the snaps were selfies of Ellie, relaxing on a lounger in a flowing white top and light blue jeans, and another sees her showing off her abs in a black bikini top while on a hike.
She’s also seen wading through the water on a riverbank, and smiling peacefully looking sunkissed and tanned.
Ellie’s getaway has clearly done her the world of good, with the star in a reflective mood among the other photographs in the post.
Some show the flowers she’s collected, and one contained a quote from John Steinbeck in 1941.
The quote reads: “All the goodness and the heroisms will rise up again, then be cut down again and rise up. It isn’t that the evil thing wins – it never will – but that it doesn’t die.”
Pals confirmed to The Sun in February that Ellie and Caspar, who married in a glamorous York ceremony in 2019, had separated after their marriage hit the rocks last summer.
A source said: “Ellie and Caspar are both absolutely dedicated to their little boy and make amazing co-parents.
“They haven’t been together for some time but are still just as close.
“If they have time they want to get away on holiday with their little boy later this year.
“It’s really important for Ellie and Caspar that they stay friends and they’re both free agents who can see other people.
“They’re both being very adult about the situation and are carrying on as normal.”
