The star spoke about her live show over Christmas and shared more about the band’s breakthrough.

Terri looked like she hadn’t aged a day since her hit song was played globally.

She looked stunning with her iconic blonde and black highlighted hair, wearing a red cutout jumper over a black vest.

The band are most known for their hit song Take My Breath Away which was released in 1986.

Terri told Fox: “That song really opened up the whole world for us because prior to that, we were well known in America, and some of Japan and Australia, but it was really Take My Breath Away that opened up the rest of the world to us and allowed us to play everywhere.

The hit song soared the charts after it was featured in the film Top Gun which was released that same year.

The song won both the Academy Award and the Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song in 1986.

The most famous lineup included Terri as the singer, bassist and vocalist John Crawford, keyboardist David Diamond, guitarist Ric Olsen, keyboardist Matt Reid, and drummer Rob Brill.

The group came to the scene in 1978 and later disbanded in 1987, a year after reaching global success.

The band reunited in 1997 with Terri and a new lineup of musicians.

Alongside Terri, the current members are John Crawford, David, Dave Schulz, Carlton Bost and Ric “Rocc” Roccapriore.

The band are currently active with one of their most recent hits being Strings Attached.

They received a lot of backlash for playing at a New Year’s Eve party at Donald J. Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort during lockdown.

After coming under fire for several days Terri apologised for the controversial gig.

In a social media post, she wrote: “I am truly sorry I performed at Mar-a-Lago and would not have done so if I’d known what I learned while I was there.”

“My goal in performing was not to support a political party. I see now that that’s not the way it appeared and I am apologetic for that as well.”
