Ed Sheeran wears a wedding dress and fools around opposite Rupert Grint in his hilarious video for new single A Little More.
But if you listen to the song’s words, you might be surprised to hear Ed laying into a former pal in the most brutal lyrics of his career.

The video came out last night and is a sequel to 2011’s Lego House in which Harry Potter actor Rupert played an obsessive fan.
This time Rupert comes out of jail and sees Ed everywhere he goes – with his bride, played by Game Of Thrones star Nathalie Emmanuel, even morphing into the singer.
But in Ed’s striking track, which is the best so far from his upcoming album Play, he sings: “You think I was born to ruin your life, but you did most of that before I arrived.”
In the chorus, he continues: “I used to love you, now every day I hate you just a little more.
“Life got better when I lost you.
“But every day I hate you just a little more and more and more.
“Blame it on your history and say it’s not your fault. I can’t call you crazy ’cause you could be diagnosed.”
And in another dig in the second verse, he sings: “I wish that you would look in the mirror ’cause, if you did, you’d see the problem is you, ’cause you’re a p***k.”
I have my theories on who it could be about, although I’ll keep shtum for now.
But I’m sure plenty of fans will be trying to connect the dots to work out exactly who the subject of this savage song really is.
Fairy good, Roan

She’s got the magic touch with her tunes and Chappell Roan looked equally fantastical in this outfit.
The US singer had fairy vibes in a custom green bodysuit decorated with wings as she headlined the Oya Festival in Norway on Wednesday.
She is fighting for No1 in the charts today with her new single The Subway, which was in the lead earlier in the week.
Everyone I know who’s seen her this summer says she’s on top form.
And us Brits will have the chance to see for ourselves when she headlines Reading and Leeds Festival in a fortnight.
Her fabulous costumes almost make up for the fact she says we’ll have to wait five years for her next album.
Selena Gomez has the Jonas Brothers to thank for her friendship with Taylor Swift.
She said: “I dated Nick and she dated Joe. It was cute. I was about 15, she was about 18 and that’s when it was the crazy curly Taylor, and she had all these bracelets . . . it was really sweet.”
Selena told the Therapuss podcast she and Taylor “like to say the best things [they] got out of those relationships was each other”.
They each split up in 2008 but “became best friends [and] bonded over the break-up, as girls do”.
Hitched Charli so XCXited

Charli XCX appeared in a cheery mood – and outfit – as she performed her first show since getting married.
She wore a rubbery yellow bra top and pants with knee-length boots to headline the Sziget Festival in Hungarian capital Budapest on Wednesday.
During the track Everything is Romantic – written for her husband, The 1975 drummer George Daniel – she told the crowd: “I’m so in love ’cause I just got married!”
She also had a gig in Norway last night, is in Sweden tonight then soon flies to Sicily for a second wedding celebration.
All that work should help with the bar tabs.
It’s Cyrus with Liz and Billy

10
Billy Ray Cyrus is so inspired by girlfriend Liz Hurley, he’s been making sweet music all about her.
The US singer has been working on new tunes in the studio in West London, while visiting the UK to see actress Liz this week.
Achy Breaky Heart star Billy, who revealed at Easter that he is romancing Liz, right, has been at Eastcote Studios where Arctic Monkeys, Kaiser Chiefs and Tom Jones have all recorded.
His last album, in 2019, failed to chart on either side of the Atlantic, but dating Liz may win him more fans.
He was by her side this week for the press launch of her new Channel 4 reality show The Inheritance.
I’ll bet that she pops up on his next record.
Kelly: My gigs off for now

10
Kelly Clarkson has cancelled the forthcoming shows of her Las Vegas residency after her ex-husband, and the father of her two kids, died.
Talent manager Brandon Blackstock’s death aged 48 after a three-year cancer battle was announced last night, less than 24 hours after Kelly said she was postponing her shows until next year.
Kelly, wed to Brandon from 2013 to 2022, wrote on Instagram in the early hours of yesterday: “Unfortunately, I need to postpone the remainder of the August Studio Session dates in Las Vegas.
“While I normally keep my personal life private, this past year my children’s father has been ill and at this moment I need to be fully present for them.
“I am sincerely sorry to everyone who bought tickets.”
Healy lads are head over heels

Love is in the air for Matt Healy – and his brother too.
The 1975 frontman Matt is preparing to marry US model Gabbriette Bechtel later this year – and now his younger sibling, actor Louis, has struck up a romance of his own.
I’m told Louis, below, is dating rising star Edie Wright, who features with him in West End show Stranger Things: The First Shadow.
A pal told me: “There’s real chemistry. Louis doesn’t stop smiling when Edie is around. Louis’ actor parents Tim Healy and Denise Welch are also fans of Edie and she gets on like a house on fire with Matt and Gabbriette.”
In the hit show now playing at the Phoenix Theatre, Louis takes on the role of troubled teen Henry Creel who later becomes villainous Vecna and is played in the Netflix show by Jamie Campbell Bower.
Edie portrays Karen Childress, a high-school student, and is also understudy for the role of Joyce Byers, played by Winona Ryder in the hit telly series.
It might still be early days for Louis and Edie, but if I was Denise I might consider buying another hat in the near future.
They do say weddings breed weddings.
Pop start had Tyla in tears
Tyla has told how she secretly sobbed in the early years of her career, over being pressured into making bubblegum pop.
The Water singer recalled: “[Those songs] didn’t feel like me at all. I remember being in my hotel room and my managers were calling me: ‘Come down, we need to cut the song.’ I was crying and thinking, ‘This is not what I want. I didn’t get signed to do this’.”
Tyla, who released her brilliant WWP EP earlier this month, told Variety: “They had to [coax] me out of that room. But through doing that, I realised how much more I love African music. It made me more persistent in keeping my ideas.”
Jojo has grasp of the rasp

10
JoJo Siwa has used her new song Raspy to hit back at her haters.
The former child star tries her hand at rapping in the explosive track, which sees her reference a number of her viral moments.
The internet can be a cruel place at times but luckily JoJo appears to have taken it all in her stride.
On the track, she raps: “Say what, go ahead, try to insult me, I’m so game. All press is good press. Hey JoJo, you’re a mess.”
Prior to dropping Raspy, the Celebrity Big Brother star released a cover of Bette Davis Eyes by Kim Carnes.
The song topped the UK iTunes pop chart, but divided fans due to JoJo’s “raspy” vocals.
She said: “Everyone is different, and every voice is different. Mine is just a little extra raspy. Loads of people have asked me how much I smoke to get my voice like this, but the truth is, I’ve never smoked a cigarette in my life. The rasp is all natural, baby.”
Backlash or not, JoJo is having the last laugh as she will kick off a UK-wide tour in October.
Raspy is JoJo’s third track of the year, following Bette Davis Eyes and Bulletproof.
Revealing she has big plans for her music for the rest of 2025, JoJo said: “There’s gonna be a lot of new music this year.
“I’ve honestly had a lot of personal frustration over these last three years. I’ve had to wait and have patience.
“I’m in a place in life where I’m like, ‘Let’s go! I want to put out music, I want to keep going.’”
