EAMONN Holmes and Ruth Langsford have had to make a major change to their home – and recruited Rylan to try out the new tech.
The GB News presenter has been dealing with chronic back pain which forced him to undergo an operation last October, and because of this he’s needing more support than ever.

As part of his recovery and in order to help him navigate the house, Eamonn and Ruth have installed an electric stair chair in order to get him up to bed.
During a catch-up session at their home, Rylan was one of the first to try out the new tech – with hilarious results as he immediately panics as it beeps.
In a post uploaded to Instagram by Rylan, the It Takes Two presenter could be seen baffled by the noisy lift as he gave it a go.
“You have to wait til it stops beeping,” Ruth assures him. “Don’t bloody break it!”
“It’s the noise!” Rylan says, before the machine kicks into gear and he starts giving the Royal wave to Ruth and the camera.
“Oh this is nice!” he declares, before turning to his ‘TV dad’ who’s off-camera and telling him: “Can I just say, I know you’ve been through it dad, but you have an easy life here.
“Honestly, you can rent this out!”
“Well someone had to go and check out the tech…. @eamonnholmes,” he joked in the caption, before telling his pal: “Good to see you on the mend”

“Welcome to The Fun Palace!” Eamonn responded. “Great night my friend.
He later shared a picture of his own with Rylan, as the pair posed with his walking sticks.
“Look who called in to see me today,” he wrote. “What a surprise!!! Better than medicine u r Rylan my friend. Gosh we laughed and laughed.”
The new installation comes as Eamonn suffered a horrific fall at his home, which left him with a fractured shoulder. The accident resulted in him taking an extended period of time off work.
His lack of mobility left him feeling particularly low as he struggled through physio sessions to get back on his feet.
Slowly but surely, he’s been making a recovery, and even managed to make it out to Piers Morgan’s Christmas bash with the aid of walking canes.
He started making his return to TV in January, admitting he was struggling with staying indoors.
He went on to reveal how he had struggled recovering at home as he is so used to being busy.
Eamonn said ahead of his screen return: “As any of you who are long term sick, or who are in any way convalescing, particularly at home, will know, there’s a lot of frustration involved in it.
“So for me, I am going to give it a go. And hopefully things will get better as a result of doing those day to day things.”
