Double bankrupt Katie Price ordered to give up car collection worth thousands after ‘failing to pay back’ creditors

DOUBLE-bankrupt Katie Price has been ordered to give up car collection after failing to pay creditors.

On Katie’s drive sits a Volkswagen Beetle, a Nissan Elgrand, a black Range Rover Vogue, a pink one, a Suzuki Vitara and an Infiniti FX50 – amounting to a whopping £280k.

The Page 3 legend was previously warned that she needed to attend the court to answer questions about her finances.

Katie was a no-show at the hearing, with Judge Catherine Burton issuing a warrant for her arrest.

The Sun revealed she jetted off to Turkey with pal Lou Anderson to get more work done.

She’s undergoing £10,000 worth of surgery on her eyes and under her chin in Istanbul after her usual surgeon refused to carry out the work for her.

And despite being wanted back in the UK, Katie is said to be ‘in no rush’ to return home.

Judge Barton said: “It is in my judgment necessary that the court issue a warrant for Ms Price’s arrest.

“She has no real excuse in failing to attend today’s hearing.

“The reason for her absence today is irrelevant.”

Judge Catherine Burton said Katie Price has failed to make the payments ordered by the court.

She was ordered to pay a one-off payment of £25,000, followed by monthly instalments of £12,500.

Judge Burton said: “They have not received any funds or explanation.
“She agreed to pay it and did not.

“She remains immediately obliged to pay £25,000.”

The reality star is battling a £760,000 unpaid tax bill after being declared bankrupt for a second time in March.

She was served an eviction notice ordering her to leave her £2million Mucky Mansion by the end of May as bailiffs swooped.

Katie was supposed to hand over her six cars – a Volkswagen Beetle, a Nissan, two Range Rovers, a Suzuki Vitara and an Infiniti FX50 – on July 5.

She also indicated she would hand over her pink Range Rover but has so far failed, the court was told.

Barrister Darragh Connell, for the trustees, said: “The concern is that absent an order from the court, the position will remain the same and that these assets cannot be readily realised.”

Timeline: Katie Price’s court history

This is not Katie’s first run in with the law. Here we break down the former glamour model’s past court appearances.

2010: Katie was issued a six-month driving ban for speeding and using her phone while driving.

2015: The star receives a £1,220 fine for jumping a red light.

2018:

She was slapped with a six-month driving ban in February 2018.

Katie is in jail for 13 hours for being found asleep behind the wheel of her car.

2019:

A year later the star is issued with her third driving ban, for three months.

She is declared bankrupt for the first time.

2021 Katie crashes her car while under the influence of alcohol and drugs and suffers a breakdown.

2022:

Katie is sentenced to an 18-month community order with 150 hours of community service for driving matters.

She pleads guilty to breaching a restraining order and is ordered to pay £1500.

2024:

March – She is declared bankrupt a second time.

APRIL – The star is warned she risks jail after failing to appear in court.

JULY An arrest warrant is issued after she again swerves court.

Katie earned £84,000 from TikTok creating content for three months – but blew the lot.

She was paid additional smaller sums – one fee of £9,989.92, plus four smaller ones ranging from £18.99 to £277.49.

Under the terms of a previous order, Katie pays 40 per cent of her monthly OnlyFans income to wipe her debts.

The court was told Katie owes 12 people or companies but has not paid a single penny to her creditors.

This includes ex-husband, Alex Reid, who told the hearing that the mum-of-five is a “calculated, cold person”.

He added: “I myself have suffered not only financial loss but the wellbeing of my family and my own mental health have suffered at the hands of Price.”

Last week, Katie insisted “everything is sorted” with her finances as she promised to “never hit rock bottom again”.

She told Channel 5’s Jeremy Vine show: “To be honest, I’m not ashamed about the bankruptcy thing either.

“It can happen to anyone at any time, and I’m glad in a way when I look that everything’s happened at once because it made me sort everything out.”

Katie was previously due to give evidence about her finances at the High Court in April but her lawyers claimed she was unable to attend.

This was because she was sunning herself in Cyprus with toyboy lover JJ Slater.

A barrister told the judge: “It’s quite apparent that the evidence was filed very late and not even filed with the court.

“We are in a very serious situation as a consequence. She may be held in contempt of court, imprisoned, fined or a warrant issued for her arrest.”

In March, Katie was declared bankrupt for a second time over an unpaid tax bill of £761,994.05.

She was ordered to cough up 40 per cent of her OnlyFans income for the next three years as part of a separate dispute.

Katie previously declared bankrupt in November 2019, with debts of £3.2million.

Katie Price’s missing millions

At the peak of her career Katie had an estimated fortune of £45m, thanks to her lucrative modelling career, book deals, and TV appearances.

The cash-strapped mum-of-five was first declared bankrupt in 2019 over unpaid debts of £3.2 million.

In a podcast interview earlier this year, she blamed her exes who include Peter Andre, Alex Reid and Kieran Hayler and lawyers for her money woes.

She insisted that funding her exes’ lavish lifestyles with cars, watches, luxury holidays and homes left her finances in tatters.

She added: “I went through a breakdown, this is how mine started – lawyers and exes, that is my bankruptcy thing.

“And obviously a bit of HMRC.

“When I had my breakdown, if anyone has been depressed… I don’t know if you’ve ever had depression.

“It starts with depression and you just want to sleep all day and not talk to anyone, the phone would ring and you wouldn’t answer it.’

In March, Katie was declared bankrupt for a second time over an unpaid tax bill of £761,994.05.

The demand for payment was made by HMRC last October.

Katie was due to give evidence about her finances at the High Court but failed to turn up – holidaying in Cyprus with her new man JJ Slater instead.

Her Mucky Mansion was a bomb site for years after it was burgled, flooded and swamped by an overflowing septic tank.

She finally moved out at the end of May and is renting a four-bed mansion in Sussex.
