Sean “Diddy” Combs currently resides behind bars at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York. While he’s lost a lot of support in the music industry, Kanye “Ye” West still has his back. According to The U.S. Sun, a leaked phone call posted to The Shade Room shows West speaking to Combs.

“Tell you real from the front lines, you know what I’m saying? S*** is wicked, wicked, wicked, so you be careful,” Combs tells West through the phone. ” … I need you out there. You feel me?”

“I hear you. Yes, sir,” West says.

“Have some f***ing fun,” Combs continues. “We not having no fun, and get behind the mic, have some fun. Chop up them samples; get back to your hitman vibe. Have some fun. Get back to smiling. … So, put that love in your heart, man, and enjoy yourself.”

“When I get out, man, I want to see you f***ing tear down the stadiums,” Combs says. “I need to see you back on that stage … actually rapping and performing and everything. I be dreaming of that s***.”

West says he knows “it’s time” to dive back into performing.

Another clip shows Combs telling West, “Jump into your bag, man. Jump into your bag. … Right now, enjoy your life. This is coming from me, from God, to you. Enjoy your life.” Combs also thanks West for helping with his kids, as he says no one else has offered assistance.

West ends the call by telling Combs he’s going to “beat” the allegations. Combs says he hopes to hear from West again soon before his trial begins.

“I’m Puff Daddy in jail,” Combs says. “This s*** is f***ing sad. … The devil is a liar.”

West currently has his own legal battles to fight. He’s embroiled in a dispute with his ex, Kim Kardashian. West posted the song “Lonely Roads Still Go To Sunshine” in collaboration with Combs that included North West’s vocals. Kardashian is working hard to remove the song from social media.
