Diane Keaton is officially done with dating.
The 77-year-old actress, who has never been married, revealed that it’s “highly unlikely” she will ever be in another relationship.
“I don’t date,” Keaton said in an interview for AARP Magazine. “I don’t remember anyone calling me, going, ‘This is So-and-So, I’d like to take you out.’ They don’t happen. Of course not.”
In fact, Keaton has always embraced the single life, adopting daughter Dexter, 27, and son, Duke, 22, in her 50s.
“They’re great,” Keaton gushed about her children. “They’re doing good.”
Yet now that her kids have moved out, Keaton has found a new companion to capture her heart: a dog named Reggie.

“Dogs are irresistible,” she explained. “They’re just idiots. Reggie is a big jerk, and she’s hilarious.”

Back in January, Keaton told Extra that it had been 15 years since she last went on a date, joking that her suitors probably thought she was “too weird.”
She shared that same sentiment three years earlier, telling People she just simply isn’t marriage material.
“I think that I’m strange,” she said. “Today I was thinking about this. I’m 73 and I think I’m the only one in my generation and maybe before who has been a single woman all her life.”
She continued, “[I’m not sad] because I think that I needed more of a maternal aspect. I don’t think it would have been a good idea for me to have married, and I’m really glad I didn’t, and I’m sure they’re happy about it, too.”
Although the actress hasn’t played the field in a while, she dated some of Hollywood’s biggest stars back in the day — including Woody Allen, Warren Beatty and Al Pacino.
