BELOVED soap opera actor Francisco San Martin has tragically passed away aged 39.
San Martin was best known for playing Dario Hernandez in long-running drama Days of Our Lives as tributes from his co-stars begin to flood in.

His body was found by cops at his Los Angeles home on Thursday, January 16, according to the Hollywood LA News.
The actor took his own life, say the Los Angeles County Coroner’s office.
San Martin was born in Spain but moved over to Montana as a child.
He found his first taste of acting in children’s theatre shows before transitioning into the world of modelling.
After years of training to become an actor in his teens he finally found his big break on Days of Our Lives and appeared in several episodes between 2010 to 2011.
His other big projects included a role in the 2013 film Behind the Candelabra directed by Steven Soderbergh.
In 2017, he returned to daytime TV and starred in The Bold and the Beautiful for 16 episodes.
He played handsome groundskeeper Mateo on the CBS show.
The same year San Martin played estate manager Fabian Regalo del Cielo in popluar show Jane the Virgin.
Heartbroken Days of Our Lives co-star Camila Banus led the tributes to San Martin.
She posted on Instagram: “Pepe, what can I say but I love you and rest in peace, my friend.
“Love you mucho mucho mucho. I wish I had told you more.”
Camila portrayed San Martin’s on-screen sister Gabi in the show.
Other tributes poured in online for the actor.
One fan said: “So sad to hear about the death of Francisco San Martin.
“He was only 39! His contributions to television will never be forgotten.”
As another wrote: “RIP Francisco San Martin. Sad news.“
