Dave Grohl’s teenage daughters seemingly deactivate Instagram accounts after his secret baby announcement

Dave Grohl’s teenage daughters appeared to have deactivated their social media profiles following news the famous rocker welcomed a baby with a woman “outside” his marriage.

Less than an hour after the Foo Fighters frontman made the shocking announcement, his 18-year-old daughter Violet and 15-year-old daughter Harper seemingly took down their Instagram profiles.

Harper used to go by the username “harpergrohll” and had over 40,000 followers. Meanwhile, Violet used the domain “viioletgrohl” and boasted nearly a quarter million followers.

However, it’s unclear exactly when the two girls archived their accounts.

Along with Violet and Harper, Grohl also shares 10-year-old daughter Ophelia with wife Jordyn Blum.

Grohl has not announced the name of his newborn daughter or identified the woman he welcomed his fourth child with.

On Tuesday, the “My Hero” singer revealed he recently became “the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of [his] marriage.”

“I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her. I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness,” he wrote on Instagram.

The rocker concluded the short message by asking everyone to take his family into “consideration” as they try to “move forward together.”

Grohl and Blum, 48, recently celebrated their 21st wedding anniversary and were last spotted together in July 2024.

The couple seemed to be in great spirits when they stepped out in London for Wimbledon over the summer.

The pair was photographed chatting and laughing during breaks in the action.

Grohl wore a simple navy suit with a mustard yellow tie and brown suede shoes. He tied his shoulder-length hair back for the posh event.

His wife, for her part, went for a monochromatic look, wearing a baby blue skirt suit with white sandals.

The couple met in 2001 — two years before tying the knot at Grohl’s Los Angeles home.

The couple welcomed their first child three years later, which “changed everything” for the rocker.

“I used to tour nine months out of the year. Now I don’t like being away from my kids for more than 12 days,” he told Time in 2009.

“It’s changed everything that I do. When you have kids, you see life through different eyes. You feel love more deeply and are maybe a little more compassionate.”
