Danica McKellar posts ‘obligatory’ no-makeup selfie on 48th birthday

Danica McKellar is going natural for the new year.

The “Wonder Years” actress celebrated her 48th birthday yesterday, posting a makeup-free selfie on Instagram to mark the occasion and sharing her “secret” to youth in the process.

Wearing a casual brown hoodie and matching tee, McKellar looked decades younger than her age as she lounged against a striped pillow, with one arm behind her head as she grinned at the camera.

“Well hello there, 48!,” she captioned the image, adding, “Here’s the obligatory #nomakeup, #nofilter shot.”

Waxing poetic on her 40s, the Christmas-movie regular continued, “If there’s any secret I’ve found to youth, it’s in the attitude… and a healthy, clean lifestyle, of course.”

Wring, “when I eat well and get enough rest and exercise, I have so much more access to that inner joy that makes life fun,” McKellar added that instead of staying up late doomscrolling, she turns in early to help avoid “the seduction of outrage addiction.”

Her “other secret to life” includes helping others. “My grandmother always said, ‘The way to be happy is to make other people happy.’ Spread it around…,” the children’s book author concluded.

Celebrity friends and the actress’ fans weighed in on McKellar’s makeup-free selfie — like “24” actress Marisol Nichols, who wrote, “You look 20!”

The Great American Family network star said she’s “more likely to stay in gratitude and make healthy choices” when she focuses on the positive things in life.

“I think you misspelled (or misnumbered?) 28…” one fan added, while another said, “you look amazing. I would have never ever guessed you were 48! Early 30s is what I’ve always thot [sic].”

Fellow ’90s teen star Melissa Joan Hart left a row of five balloon emojis on the post, while Candace Cameron Bure — who stars with McKellar on the new Great American Family channel — wrote, “Happy birthday Danica!!!! May God bless you abundantly this new year in ways unexpected.”

Whatever she’s doing, it’s certainly working. Happy birthday, Danica!
