Cristiano Ronaldo asked Georgina Rodriguez to marry him with a ring that’s larger and more expensive than the $4 million rock she was sporting.
They say “good things come to those who wait,” and after waiting for what Cristiano Ronaldo called the “right click,” the athlete has proposed to his longtime partner, Georgina Rodriguez.
The Argentina-born model announced the news to her followers on Instagram Aug. 11, writing, “Sí, quiero. En esta y en todas mis vidas,” which translates in English to “Yes I do. In this and in all my lives.”
The couple sparked engagement rumors earlier this year when Rodriguez was seen sporting a rock on that finger last April.
At the time, the jewelry experts at Steven Stone told Showbiz Cheat Sheet: “Georgina Rodríguez’s jewelry collection is a dazzling reflection of her signature elegance and impeccable taste. Over the years, she’s taken to Instagram to showcase the exquisite pieces gifted to her by Cristiano Ronaldo — each more stunning than the last. Zach Stone added that the “jaw-dropping ring we believe to be worth around $4 million.”
However, Rodriguez’s official engagement ring from the soccer superstar is even more impressive. Maxwell Stone estimates that the 30-carat diamond oval-cut stone set in platinum is worth an eye-popping $10 million.
