Alongside a collection of behind the scenes snaps, he wrote: “Joining the cobbles in August was a dream come true and I’ve had the most amazing experience on the show. It’s reinvigorated my love for working in TV and I just wanna say cheers to the producers, crew, directors, as well as @gillywalshy and the @corriemakeup crew I’ve worked with over the last few months.

“Obviously, a massive thanks to everyone I’ve worked alongside in front of the camera too, but specifically to @belfastmikey77 , @itslukedelaney, @scott_anson_, @paddybever, @caitfitt0n, @twana.0121_ and @martinhancock22. You guys made every day fun and I couldn’t have asked for a better team to work with.”

Ollie was the youngest member of the terror group that groomed Max Turner and was often manipulated and teased by gang leader Griff Reynolds.

While the gang was infiltrated and then decimated by cops, Griff still has a part to play in an ongoing storyline.

This week, Spider pays Griff a visit in prison in a bid to get the name of the person who financially helped him to spread his racist agenda throughout Weatherfield.

Spider agrees to get Griff’s sentence reduced on the one condition he reveals where the funding came from.

Will Griff take the bait?

Meanwhile Maria Connor (Samia Longchambon) is still trying to move on from the turmoil Griff put her through when she tried to open up Weatherfield to refugees.

The local politician is annoyed when fellow councillor Len Cameron (Mark Murphy) invites the press to photograph him handing over a cheque for the funding.

Suddenly, Spider and a colleague screech up in a car wearing stab vests. Is Maria at risk, or is Len the gang’s secret benefactor?
