Singing superstar Lionel, 73, got the crowds on their feet as he belted out his hit tracks Easy (Like Sunday Mornings) and All Night Long.
Known for his smooth silky voice, viewers at home couldn’t help but notice something very strange about Lionel’s voice.
One wrote: “His voice has gone, time to call it a day #LionelRichie.”
“Lionel sounds like a p***** up Dad at a wedding,” one cheekily posted.

A third said: “What the hell has happened to Lionel’s voice #CoronationConcert”
“The sound is horrific at the concert. Lionel elongated a verse to let the music catch up,” a fourth tweeted.
Someone else said: “In other news, what has happened to Lionel Richie? Has he died and been replaced? Sounds nothing like him #CoronationConcert”
“Sounds like Shane Richie not Lionel, this is god awful,” while this person echoed.

The concert comes after Charles was crowned as King of the United Kingdom at 12.04pm in Westminster Abbey on Saturday.
And tonight, millions will watch as Take That, Katy Perry, Richie, Paloma Faith and more perform in celebration of the King.
The big event kicked off at 8pm and is set to run for two hours, and come to a close at 10pm.
You can watch the concert at a screening site at St James’s Park, London – access to the park opens at 4pm.
The big event is screened on a large screen in the park, but there will be no screens in Hyde Park.
The concert is also being broadcast live on BBC One, BBC iPlayer, BBC Radio 2 and BBC Sounds.
Take That and Katy Perry are among the big musical acts who will be performing at the concert.
Joining the line-up are Italian opera singer Andrea Bocelli, Welsh bass-baritone Sir Bryn Terfel, and classical-soul composer Alexis Ffrench.
Freya Ridings has pulled out of the event due to being unwell, according to reports.

Meanwhile, Zak Abel will now join the lineup.
Other performers included Olly Murs, Paloma Faith, Bette Midler, Tiwa Savage, Steve Winwood and Pete Tong.
