COLEEN Rooney almost called in bailiffs to seize £800,000 in legal costs from Becky Vardy — after her rival Wag admitted she did not have the cash.
Becky was ordered to pay Coleen the huge sum last November after losing the Wagatha Christie libel trial four months before.

But Coleen’s legal team have now revealed Becky was not able to fork out the full amount by the court ordered deadline of November 15.

They said Becky had to ask Coleen for extra time, which she agreed to.
Yesterday, a statement made on Coleen’s behalf by her legal team said: “Although it was open to Mrs Rooney to contemplate enforcement action against Mrs Vardy, such as instructing bailiffs or even bankruptcy, Mrs Rooney declined to do so and allowed her extra time to pay.”
Coleen’s team also hit back at Becky’s fury over the £1.8million costs bill issued to her following the trial.

The Sun told yesterday how she had declared “war” over the figures, which included a £2,200 stay in a five star London hotel for one of Coleen’s lawyers.
Coleen’s team have said she repeatedly tried to stop the court case going ahead and that by pursuing it, Becky brought on the action herself.
