During an online Q&A, a fan asked the internet personality if he was feeling okay, after noticing he looked ‘sad’ following a recent podcast episode with best friend Yung Filly.

Chunkz took to Snapchat to respond, he said: “I’ll be honest I’m gonna keep it real with you lots, I don’t know how long I’ve got left on this online social media thing, maybe it’s the way that I’m feeling right now.

“I’ve been doing this for eight years or nine years now, potentially I might have outgrown it, I’m just saying that maybe I need to do a new strand of content, maybe stop doing content, maybe go on a break.

“I’m feeling great, I’m feeling fine, it’s just I might have to look at different things to feel excited about doing videos.”

Fans took to social media to express their concern about the comedian potentially quitting.

One fan commented: “He’s definitely lost some spark about him, doesn’t seem like he is even having fun”

Another said: “I hope he doesn’t quit”

A third added: “We all go through ups and downs in our career. It’s NORMAL!”

This wouldn’t be the first time Chunkz has quit his career.

Back in 2021, he retired from music after a short but successful stint as a singer.

Chunkz has made a number of musical appearances, from the hit song Vibranium to bagging a top 30 single with Yung Filly with the song Hold, released in 2020.

He opened up to fans about his decision to stop making music and revealed that it was down to deepening his connection with religion.

The YouTuber had said his music retirement came from him feeling bad about making music due to him being Muslim and in a YouTube video he admitted “I have to stop for the sake of God.”

The culinary series, Cooking with Chunkz, became so successful that he dropped out of university in 2016 to focus on his channel.

He continued to create even more success when he formed the comical duo Chunkz and Yung Filly.

The pair have successfully landed gigs with both FootAsylum and Sky Sports, massively growing their fan base and launching a podcast called The Chunkz and Filly Show.

With a whopping 8.8 million followers across all his social media platforms, it is very clear how popular Chunkz is.

So only time will tell to see if he turns his back on the industry that catapulted him into fame.
