Christina Applegate is sending a message on the SAGs red carpet.
The “Married with Children” actress, 51, looked elegant in a black velvet Christian Siriano gown as she attended the 2023 SAG Awards on Sunday night on the arm of her 12-year-old daughter, Sadie Grace LeNoble — and she let her accessory do the talking.
Wearing a tuxedo-style dress with satin lapels and a long train, the star — who was diagnosed with MS in early 2021 — blinged out her black cane with bedazzled messages including “FU MS” as well as “Sadie” with a heart.
Applegate wore her hair in loose waves, adding a bright red lip and going without jewelry for the evening.
Meanwhile, Sadie coordinated with her mom in a matching black ‘fit, wearing a trouser suit with a black newsboy-style cap and platform Doc Martens.
The actress is nominated in the Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series category for her role on “Dead to Me.”

Her red carpet appearance follows an exciting moment for the “Up All Night” actress, who recently rocked an MS-themed manicure as she received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
She also matched with Sadie — who was her date for the first awards show Applegate attended since her diagnosis — at the Critic’s Choice Awards in January.
While her first awards show was just last month, the SAG Awards could be one of her last on the red carpet, as Applegate recently revealed she “couldn’t imagine” continuing to work as an actress as she continues to fight the disease.
“It’s my last awards show as an actor probably, so it’s kind of a big deal,” she told the Los Angeles Times earlier this month, referencing tonight’s appearance.
“Right now, I couldn’t imagine getting up at 5 a.m. and spending 12 to 14 hours on a set; I don’t have that in me at this moment.”
While TV audiences are crossing their fingers for more red carpet moments to come, it seems like Applegate is enjoying her glam night at the SAGs.
