SHE turns 40 this month and Cheryl has packed plenty in during those years.
Which is why she is now following in the footsteps of a string of other stars and is set to make a documentary looking back at her life.

The singer-turned-reality TV-judge-turned-actress is in talks with a top production company which has delivered retrospectives with other celebrities.
An insider said: “As she approaches a landmark birthday Cheryl’s been taking a look back at her life and thinking about capturing her thoughts on film.
“There’s been a long line of other stars who’ve done the same, relishing the rare chance to give their side of the story in their own words.
“But Cheryl will only go ahead if she’s completely comfortable with what approach they’ll take and her level of input.

“It’s too soon to say which broadcaster would most likely air the show, but with competition between terrestrial channels and streamers stronger than ever it would likely spark a bidding battle.”
Cheryl last year celebrated 20 years in showbusiness after shooting to fame on talent show Pop Stars: The Rivals and becoming one fifth of Girls Aloud, in November 2002.
She was a judge on The X-Factor and has acted on stage in 2:22: A Ghost Story.
I have told how former One Direction singer Liam Payne, dad to Cheryl’s six-year-old son Bear, is also to make a personal documentary.
Neither have talked publicly about their relationship, but that could change in either or both of their documentaries. It’s just a question of who might get there first.
Candid and exposing TV documentaries have already come from huge acts including Ed Sheeran, Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift.
So no pressure on Cheryl and Liam then . .

FIERCE KELLY SHOWS OFF HER SOFT SIDE
KELLY ROWLAND looked fierce in this black skintight catsuit as she headlined Mighty Hoopla festival.
But she showed her sensitive side as she teared up on stage while paying tribute to fan Julie Lillis, who recently passed away.

Two years ago Kelly donated £28,000 towards her treatment for cancer.
The Destiny’s Child singer used Saturday’s event in Brockwell Park, South London, to dedicate her song Stole to Julie, from Northern Ireland, who died in March.
Kelly told her crowd: “This next song I want to dedicate to my darling Julie, who has been with Destiny’s Child and me my whole career.
“Julie, I love you. This one’s for you.”
There were more positive moments during the festival, including sets from Kelis, Flo and Nadine Coyle.
Years & Years headlined the second day last night.

SCARLETT’S CHIPS ARE DOWN
IN a strange confession, Scarlett Moffat has told how grub from grubby chip shop tastes better to her.
The telly star said: “If we get a takeaway from a kebab shop I check the food hygiene rating and I’m like, ‘this is all right, it’s a four’.

12
“But if I go to a chip shop, it could be one and I’m not bothered.

“I feel like the worse the hygiene rating from a chip shop, the better.”
Chatting on her podcast Scarlett Moffatt Wants To Believe, she added: “To me, if you’ve got a c**p food hygiene rating, it shows that you’re very, very busy.”
If you say so, Scarlett.
JESS’S SPICE LIFE
JESS GLYNNE got more than just a good payday when she supported the Spice Girls on their 2019 reunion tour – she is still mates with them.
The Silly Me singer hit the road for a string of stadium dates with Mel B, Emma Bunton, Geri Horner and Melanie C and said she had the time of her life.
Jess said: “I stay in touch with the girls, they’re really cool. They’re super lovely and supportive.
“It was incredible. It was such an amazing moment in time. It’s crazy to think it was four years ago now.”
BEER IS BACK
MADISON BEER looked relaxed after she returned with her first single of the year, Home To Another One.
The track came out on Friday and will feature on her newly announced second album Silence Between Songs, which is due out on September 15.

12
Madison said “I’ve learned so much about myself and my artistry on the journey of the last two years since my last record.
“This album tells the story of so many different pieces of me that I discovered in the moments of pause, where I settled down from the noise and learned the most about myself.
“I hope my fans are as inspired listening to it as I was when creating it.”
WES CAR HORROR
THE LUMINEERS frontman Wesley Schultz has revealed he and his wife nearly died when their car flipped in a smash.
During the band’s show in Dublin the singer told how they were lucky to have survived the wreckage in 2021.

12
The band went on to perform Where We Are, which was inspired by the near-tragic accident.
Wesley said the song, from their album Brightside, was an ode to the pandemic too, telling fans: “We were really lucky to somehow walk away from that experience, and this song is based on that car wreck.
“But it’s also based on the last few years, when the world sort of shut down.”
The Colorado band played to a sold-out crowd in the capital’s St Anne’s Park on Friday, a stop on their huge Brightside World Tour.
They will play their biggest ever UK gig in London on July 8.
FOOS, NOEL FIGHT
NOEL GALLAGHER and The Foo Fighters are in the biggest chart battle of the year so far as they fight for the No1 album spot.
I can reveal that last night there were just three sales between Foos’ But Here We Are in the lead and Noel’s Council Skies.

12

12
If Noel does it, it would be his 11th No1 studio album, if you count his chart topping records with Oasis, while the Foos would bag their sixth No1 record.
Foo Fighters had last night sold 27,700 copies, while Noel has shifted 27,697.
A source said: “Noel and the Foos is gearing up to be the most exciting race to the top so far this year.
“Noel has a lot of fans in the UK but the Foos’ album is the first since their drummer Taylor Hawkins died and is seriously emotional.”
In even more surprising news, Kylie Minogue And Madonna may both have singles inside the Top 20 this Friday.
Kylie’s Padam Padam has rocketed to No6 from No23, according to chart statistics seen by Bizarre, after its CD single release.
Madonna’s collaboration Popular, with The Weeknd and Playboi Carti, was last night at No20.
Good luck to them all, it’s going to be an interesting week.
