Cheryl, 39, has given fans insight into what she’ll do after starring in 2:22 A Ghost Story.
She will wrap up her stint in a month, and fans are desperate to get her back in the recording studio.
When asked her about returning to music, Cheryl wasn’t so sure.
She said: “What am I going to do?” The fan said: “Music. Hint, hint.”

She told them: “The industry’s completely changed and I don’t know if I’d fit in.”
Just last month, Cheryl told The One show about her plans to do more acting.
She said: “I think [my next role] would have to be something that gave me that same feeling where it just feels right.
She added: “Maybe a drama or something gritty.”
During her solo pop career she landed five No1 singles — only knocked off her pop princess perch by Jess Glynne.
They included hit track Fight for This Love and Crazy Stupid Love featuring Tinie Tempah.

Although she may be putting her solo tracks on the back-burner,
Girls Aloud are set to return with new music to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their first album.
Kimberley Walsh, 41, broke the news that the group would be releasing new tracks to mark the milestone.
Joined by Cheryl, Nadine Coyle, Nicola Roberts and the late Sarah Harding, the girlband became the biggest selling of the 21st century.
They split in 2009 but got back together in 2013 for their 10th anniversary tour.
Last year, they released a demo version of their debut single on vinyl to celebrate Sound of The Underground turning 20.
They gave 100 per cent of the profits to The Sarah Harding Breast Cancer Appeal, which is part of The Christie Charitable Fund.
The band were heartbroken after Sarah died aged 39 in 2021 following her battle with breast cancer.
Kimberley told MailOnline: “We’ve got some fun alternative versions of songs lying around and little re-releases just to kind of mark that because, you know, it’s a big deal.
“Twenty years is a long time and the love that we still feel for Sound Of The Underground and some of the songs from the first album are still huge.
“So it still feels like something to celebrate, but in a kind of sort of discreet way, I guess.”
