THE youngest son of Cher has reportedly been rushed to hospital after an overdose.
Elijah Blue Allman, 48, is now receiving “the best care possible” after he was found unresponsive on Saturday morning, according to TMZ.

Elijah is still in the hospital in Joshua Tree, California, with his current condition unknown.
An insider told the US outlet that Elijah is “very lucky to have survived”.
Cher is said to be focused on “doing everything she can to get him the help he needs”.
Elijah’s history of substance abuse has been public after Cher filed for a conservatorship to control access to his money in 2023.
The pop icon claimed her son was “substantially unable to manage his own financial resources due to severe mental health and substance abuse issues”.
The two agreed to take the matter away from court and solved the issue privately a few months after the claims were first made.
The mother-son duo took part in a private meditation session, according to People.
At the session, they agreed to “pause all legal proceedings and related activities, including all discovery and motion practice, to allow the Parties to continue working together to privately and confidentially resolve this matter,” according to court documents obtained by the outlet.
Elijah’s dad is the late Gregg Allman.
He is also believed to have suffered from substance abuse issues which doctors say may have led to his death from liver cancer in 2012.

Elijah, who followed in his parent’s footsteps to become a musician, is also known by his stage name P. Exeter Blue.
He was a part of the rock band Deadsy for 28 years as the lead guitarist before reportedly stepping away from the group in recent years.
He is currently going through a divorce from his estranged wife, Marieangela King, according to court documents obtained by Page Six.
Elijah is one of six siblings.
On his father’s side, he has two half-brothers — Devon and Michael Sean Allman — and two half-sisters — Layla Brooklyn and Delilah Island Allman.
On his mother’s side, Elijah has one half-brother, 54-year-old Chaz Bono.
Chaz’s father is the late politician and performer, Sonny Bono.
People reported, for much of their lives, Cher raised Elijah and Chaz as a single mother.
Inside Cher’s conservatorship struggles
CHER has two children, but has shared a rocky relationship with her youngest son, Elijah Blue Allman.
Elijah’s drug problems began at an early age, with the musician admitting to experimenting with drugs when he was just 11.
“I mean it’s just what you did, it’s just what everybody did,” he said during a 2014 interview.
As he grew up, Elijah veered toward harder drugs, resulting in health crises and periods of not speaking with his mom.
Despite saying that he was sober in his 2014 interview, Cher became involved years later when she was accused of ‘kidnapping’ him to force him into treatment.
Elijah’s estranged wife, Marieangela King, claimed that Cher sent four men into Elijah’s hotel room to take him to rehab in Mexico.
Cher eventually filed for an emergency conservatorship over Elijah in 2023, on the basis of his ‘severe mental health and substance abuse issues.’
A judge ruled against the temporary conservatorship in January, with Cher agreeing to suspend her appeal after entering into mediation with her son.
