Cher rang in 2023 with “daddy” Alexander “AE” Edwards by her side.
The “Believe” singer, 76, fueled even more rumors that she and the music producer, 36, are engaged by posting cuddly pics of the two hanging out during New Year’s Eve via Twitter.
While posing for a selfie during the evening, the glittering diamond Edwards recently gifted Cher was front and center – though she wasn’t rocking it on that finger.
“Happy New Year Daddy,” the “Burlesque” star captioned one of the snaps.
Cher also threw some shade at the people criticizing the couple for their age gap, writing, “This should Send you Haters to The Part in Wizzard of OZ…WHEN DOROTHY THREW WATER ON THE wicked Witch & Melted her.”
As previously reported, Edwards presented Cher with the massive sparkler for Christmas, which instantly sparked engagement rumors from fans online.
“THERE R NO WORDS,” Cher tweeted on Christmas Day, after receiving the ring that’s estimated to be worth a quarter of a million dollars.
While the “Turn Back Time” singer has yet to confirm or deny whether she and her beau are actually engaged, she did share with fans that she wished her late mother, Georgia Holt, could see the massive rock.

Holt, who was also an actress, died on Dec. 10 at age 96.

Cher has also spent a considerable amount of time defending her controversial new romance with Edwards ever since they were first spotted holding hands in November.
“As we All Know …I WASNT BORN YESTERDAY,& What I Know For Sure…There Are No Guarantees,” the songwriter previously wrote in response to a hater.
Edwards is a father to 3-year-old son Slash with ex Amber Rose, whom he dated from 2018 to 2021.
The Grammy winner, for her part, was married to her longtime musical partner, Sonny Bono, from 1964 to 1975 and Gregg Allman from 1975 to 1979.
