Michael was evicted during last night’s live eviction show by AJ Odudu and Will Best.
The former Tory MP received the fewest votes from the public and is the first to be sent packing.
He faced the axe alongside Mickey Rourke and Jack P. Shepherd.
Confused fans accidentally voted for their least favourite
As voting lines opened for the first eviction, Celebrity Big Brother fans accidentally voted to save their least favourite housemates.
Unlike civilian Big Brother, which aired last autumn, which is vote to evict, the celeb version is vote to save.
Confused fans at home accidentally used their five free app votes to save the very people they wanted to be axed from the spy house.
Taking to social media, one fan said: “Did anyone else accidentally just vote to evict instead of save?”
A second wrote: “Well that was a wasted #CBBUK vote, thought it was to evict not save.”
“Didn’t realise it was vote to save and gave 5 votes to Mickey,” said a third furious fan.
How to vote in live evictions
To vote online, start by visiting itv.com/vote and select Celebrity Big Brother as your show option.
Alternatively, you can download the official Big Brother UK app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
Voting opens and closes during specific windows announced in each episode of Celebrity Big Brother.
Keep an eye on the show for updates on when voting begins and ends.
Each verified mobile number is allowed five votes per event, so you can use them strategically to support your favourite contestants.
ITV slammed over ‘favourably editing’ their star
Celebrity Big Brother fans have accused the show of ‘cutting scenes’ to ‘protect an ITV star’ after last night’s shock nomination result.
ITV viewers were left baffled when it was revealed Coronation Street star Jack P. Shepherd, 37, had racked up a whopping eight nominations from his fellow housemates.
But for many, the bigger shock was how little airtime Jack had received in the lead-up to the bombshell result.
Some believe producers are deliberately cutting scenes to give the soap star a favourable edit – especially after suggestions he’d been making jokes that some housemates didn’t find funny.
Taking to X, formerly Twitter, one wrote: “I think ITV are protecting their own talent by not airing Jack P Shepards ‘dark humour’ jokes.”
Another added: “Jack getting the most nominations, but the least airtime means ITV are giving him a very good edit.”
Trisha opens up about cancer treatment
On last night’s episode Trisha Goddard bravely opened up about the gruelling side effects of a “wonder drug” that she is taking to help prolong her life.
Although she didn’t disclose what the treatment is called, she revealed how it had taken its toll on her.
In a conversation with Donna Preston in the garden Trisha said: “This new drug, that people hail as a wonder drug… what people don’t know, is it is one of the most vicious drugs to take.
“(I get) Terrible constipation muscle aches, taste affected, eye sight affected.
“But if I hadn’t have had it, I wouldn’t be here, so it’s last call at the rodeo drug.”
Trisha, 67, was diagnosed with terminal breast cancer in 2023, having first got the disease in 2008.
