CAROL Vorderman has insisted she is at her happiest when looking scruffy – but admitted fans never see that side of her.
The star, 62, who regularly appears in glam mode on This Morning, revealed the reality of life dashing from one TV studio to the next today.

“Oh the glamour! Just stopped for fuel at Reading service station,” Carol told fans in a video on Instagram.
“I’m on my way to lots of production meetings for new shows and things in London, and put my make-up on in the service station toilets, as per.
“Which makes me laugh. People think sometimes, mistakenly, that there is this glamorous life going on.
“Can I just tell you, I am the biggest, happiest, scruff on the planet.

“But sometimes I have to scrub up a bit!”
Former Countdown star Carol – who hosts a show on BBC Radio Wales – has been bombarding fans with sexy selfies since falling in love with exercise.
She has posted numerous snaps of her toned abs, and shows off her amazing figure in skintight clothes.
She keeps her body in shape with gruelling workouts several times a week, and shows off the results on Instagram.
The TV favourite first came to the public eye over 40 years ago on Channel 4 quiz show Countdown as a shy 21 year old.
She recently told The Sun that her philosophy now is to “live life” after she transformed herself into the confident sex bomb she is today.
