Her mum said Cara was devastated after “her whole life” was destroyed in the blaze.
On Friday the heartbroken actress shared a sweet picture of her two cats, writing that her heart was “broken” and telling fans to “cherish what you have”.
But yesterday she found out they’d been rescued by brave firefighters, and shared a post that read: “They are alive!! Thank you to the firefighters.”
Cara then posted two snaps of her furry friends looking a little worse for wear after their ordeal.

In one snap a firefighter still covered in dust and grime from fighting the blaze holds one of the cats snugly in his arms.
The fluffy animal peeks out from his arms, wrapped in a towel and looking quite shell-shocked after its escape.
And the second cat is seen resting on the chest of someone else, also looking slightly bedraggled.
Cara was seen for the first time since the horrific fire yesterday leaving The Kit Kat Club theatre in London after starring in her West End show Cabaret.
On Instagram, Cara addressed the blaze that saw 40 firefighters rush to the scene.
She wrote: “My heart is broken today. I cannot believe it. Life can change in a blink of an eye. So cherish what you have.
“Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all the firefighters and people that have showed up to help.”
And her parents, Pandora and Charles, revealed the cause of the blaze as they spoke to press before her West End show.
The star’s father said that an electrical fault had gotten out of control due to high winds in the area.
Charles mentioned that “something fell on a power line” as it was a “very windy” night in Southern California.
Pandora said: “She had everything in her house, her whole life.
“She built it, she made it. She has everything in it.”
An official cause hasn’t been given yet but is thought to have started in a backroom of the property and rapidly spread to the attic, causing part of the roof to cave in.
An emergency call was made at 3.57am local time.
When the fire broke out, Cara’s cats were inside the house with another occupant – who escaped but was reportedly treated for smoke inhalation.
It took the huge team of firefighters in 13 fire engines over two hours to get the flames under control.
A post to the LAFD website said: “Firefighters arrived to find a four-storey building with fire showing from the second floor.
“It took 40 firefighters 21 minutes to extinguish the fire.
“After firefighters entered the structure to eliminate the remainder of the flames, crews ventilated the building to remove any lingering smoke and conducted a search for any victims.
“No reported injuries to civilians or firefighters. The cause of the fire is under investigation.”
An officer from the Los Angeles Police Department told Page Six that there was “nothing to suggest that it was criminal activity”.
The LAPD added: “There is no indication of an arson or criminal investigation right now.”
The Suicide Squad actress bought her 8,000-square-foot mansion in 2019.
Delevingne gave Architectural Digest a tour of her Los Angeles home in 2021, which she called her “adult playhouse”.
Her house includes a ball pit, projector screen, trampolines and a pool.
