CALUM Scott has clocked up 18 billion streams since releasing his debut single Dancing On My Own, bagged Top 20 hits with Jax Jones and Lost Frequencies and performed at Windsor Castle as part of the King’s Coronation.
But now he’s ready for his next challenge – fatherhood.

The star, whose new single At Your Worst is out now, tells The Sun he is actively looking at starting a family of his own – turning to Team GB diver and dad of two Tom Daley for advice.
Calum said: “I was talking to Tom about his experiences as obviously he and his husband now have two children.
“I took his number and said I would love to sit down and have a coffee and talk about how he went about it.
“I am massively into the idea. I know it would mean taking a kid on tour with me but I asked my band and they didn’t mind.
“The thing is there is never a right time, you want to make sure you can give a child a safe and happy life but you don’t want to take your foot off the gas when it comes to your career. I really do want kids, it’s just working out that balance.”
But before welcoming a child, Calum is focusing on his third album – the follow up to 2022’s Bridges.

Calum says of the record: “I had developed a sad boy vibe and now I am a little bit less sad boy.
“It’s from working on with songs with Jax, Lost Frequencies and KYGO. It’s developed my vision and a bit more perspective.
“Everything I do is with hope – I try to steer away from being as depressing as I can but emotional songs are my bread and butter. I’ve always said Adele is my idol and how she makes you connect.
“It’s an evolution and I feel like I am in a place in my life where I am more content and more confident than I have ever been before so it’s reflected in the music.
“When I was at Tomorrowland I was bouncing around the stage like I was a teenager again and I was like ‘oh I don’t feel as daft as I thought I was going to’.
“I don’t want to change the DNA of who I am. I am still going to the ballads and there are some heart wrenching songs on the album but I wanted to lead with something more fun.”
