BROOKLYN Beckham has found himself in hot water with his followers after an “out of touch” recipe involving truffles that cost £2 per gram.
The wannabe chef, and son of David and Victoria Beckham, took to Instagram on Friday night to share his latest creation of truffle-laced creamy tagiatelle.

In a fast cut of his process, Brooklyn was seen mixing in shaved truffles into the sauce, before later grating more on top of the finished dish before munching.
Alongside the clip, he wrote: “In my kitchen no such thing as too much truffle ❤️”
However, some fans took exception to the dish saying he was being “out of touch” by bragging about overloading on an ingredient others could barely afford.
“I wish I could afford the idea of ‘no such thing as too much truffle’,” wrote one.
“These people live in a different world,” said another. “Most people can barely afford to eat at the moment and this kid is waffling on about truffle.”
“I can’t even afford watching this,” joked a third, while a fourth said: “My goodness that much truffle would cost the same as feeding a family for a week!”
A fifth fan was a bit more sympathetic though, and reached out to Brooklyn to provide an alternative: “Delicious! Could you do a cheaper version? Truffle are expensive.”

While others were quick to hit back at those criticising Brooklyn for making a dish he enjoys eating.
“Let the man just be, so much negativity. We live in a world where people love to hate,” one supporter responded.
“Some comments are out of this world,” added another. “I cannot afford truffle either but still I enjoyed the video and really don’t care who and how he bought it. What about unfollowing him instead of writing mean comments.”
While a third said: “him eating truffle doesn’t affect you in the slightest.”
As Brooklyn tries to make his mark on the culinary world, he has been backed by Gordon Ramsay who defended him after another previous video in which he used “raw beef” in another grand creation.
Speaking to the MailOnline, Gordon said: “Brooklyn has grown up with my kids and is the son of dear friends of ours. I haven’t seen the video of his supposedly ‘raw’ beef.
“But even as a 12-year-old, whilst playing football, Brooklyn was always excited about food. So I’m pleased that he’s gone down that road and he’s found something he really enjoys doing.”
“This is why i can’t be on a reality show. The way i would have read down Aaron and caused chaos after that statement he made about Zara.. i would be on my way back from south africa by now,” said a third.
