Bob Barker’s death was a result of his battle with Alzheimer’s disease, according to TMZ.
The “Price is Right” icon, who died last month, had never publicly addressed his battle with the disease.
While it’s unclear when he was first diagnosed, his death certificate indicates that his passing came “years” after his Alzheimer’s began, according to the outlet.
Barker notably teamed up with PETA in 2013 for a campaign which highlighted how a vegetarian diet could help prevent the brain disorder.
The news comes just over a week after Page Six confirmed that the game show host had died at the age of 99.
“It is with profound sadness that we announce that the World’s Greatest MC who ever lived, Bob Barker has left us,” his rep told us.
