BILLIE Faiers has been slammed as an ‘entitled princess’ by fuming fans after she complained about being “forced to hold her five month-old baby for 12 hours” on a flight back from the Maldives.
The Family Diaries star has faced an intense social media backlash after she moaned about her ordeal in the most recent episode of The Sam and Billie podcast.
Billie, 33, who just jetted back following a luxury holiday to the Maldives with her husband Greg, 38, and her three kids, revealed she had to “hold” her newborn baby Margot for the whole flight because there was no in-flight bassinet.
But many followers of the former The Only Way Is Essex star did not feel much sympathy for her.
One ranted on Facebook: “Forced to hold her own child! Flight of 12 hours ??? Why take a baby that far?”
A second chipped in: “Oh my heart bleeds for this entitled princess who had to hold her own baby…”
A third added: “Aww pity you
many other mothers do this, so what makes you so special?”
“Why didn’t she book an extra seat and take the car seat on then?” asked a fourth.
A fifth pointed out: “Don’t you realise a child doesn’t have a seat until they are 2 years old. Note to oneself Don’t Take A Small Baby That Far!”
And a sixth chimed in: “How awful for her having to hold her own baby.
. Silly mare. I held both mine on my knee FFS.”
Opening up about taking her baby on the long-haul flight, Billie had revealed it was an “intense” journey home from the holiday.

She hit out at plane companies for not having enough options for newborns after holding her young daughter for 12 hours.
“I had a nightmare,” she told listeners. “We get on the plane and going out there we had the bassinet for Margot, which is what you get when you have a young baby.
“Going out, it’s great because where the bassinets are you get the legroom as well, so you know with a baby you’ve got all the stuff and you’re always in and out of the baby bag.
“Anyway, we get on the flight and they’re like ‘really sorry the bassinets broke’. One bassinet on the whole flight.”
After asking to still sit in the seat, Billie revealed flight attendants moved her away to make room for a couple who had “booked extra legroom”.
“So I had to hold Margot in my arms for 12 hours – Greg and mum helped as well. I just thought ‘please don’t do this to me’,” she said.
“She’s at the age now – she’s five months – she doesn’t want to be restricted in my arms for 12 hours, but we had no choice.”
Sister Sam, 32, went on to agree: “The same thing happened on our flight to Dubai. Obviously it wasn’t as long but is like six or seven hours.
“No bassinet at all and Edward is 11 months and he’s heavy. Paul and I had to hold him the whole flight because the bassinet seat was taken.
“We were like ‘Well I requested a bassinet seat. I understand that seat might be taken, but it was a couple that had those four seats with no baby.
“And I was like ‘can you swap us please because you can see I’ve got a baby here that’s 11 months that’s going to want to lay out and sleep’ and I had the same issue.
“She wouldn’t move us and I was like, ‘but we have a baby, surely the baby comes over legroom’ – unless you’re really elderly or something, but these were a couple in their 30s and 40s. It was bad’.”
