Ben Affleck and Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s daughter, Kathleen “Kick” Kennedy, are making waves as he goes through with his divorce from Jennifer Lopez. Affleck and Kennedy allegedly had a fling before the actor got back together with Lopez in 2021. They were spotted together in August 2024 after Lopez filed for divorce. However, Affleck’s representatives denied he was pursuing a romance with the politician’s daughter.
A source told DailyMail.com that Affleck tried to “erase” Kennedy from his life, which was the wrong move. “Ben should have said nothing,” the insider said. “He tried to erase Kick from his existence, and it was just not fair for her or for anyone who knows her. He is trying to pull the ‘I don’t know her’ card, but what he failed to realize is that they weren’t the only two people in the world that knew that they used to hook up or that they were hanging out again.”
The source added that Affleck and Kennedy had “no overlap” with Affleck and Lopez in their alleged romance. But Affleck still “fears that this will affect his divorce.”
Another insider noted that Affleck wants no connection to former President Donald Trump. He also doesn’t want Lopez to think less of him. “Given the current political climate, Ben is putting the brake on Kick,” the second source claimed. “But not only because of the Trump connection. He is also concerned about what J.Lo would think.”

“But J. Lo figures there’s no smoke without fire,” the insider alleged. “She’s livid at the thought that he’s been chasing tail at the same time she was fighting tooth and nail to save the marriage, and there’s no way she’s willing to let this go.”
The source added that Affleck feels “ready to enjoy life again” post-divorce and doesn’t want to “sit around single for long.”
“He and J. Lo have been separated for nearly six months,” they continued. “He’s not going to live like a monk forever.”

Jennifer Lopez won’t stay kicked down for long with the Kick Kennedy rumors. A source told Life & Style that the superstar knows “the best revenge is looking good.” She’s currently undergoing a “total body makeover” by overhauling her diet and exercise.
“She can’t stand the idea that people think she’s sitting home alone crying over Ben, so even though the last thing she wants to do is put on a smile for the cameras, she forces herself to do it,” the insider claimed. “After that, she’ll do a sweat session in her sauna followed by a cold plunge to burn extra fat and rev up her metabolism before a boring lunch of steamed fish and veggies.”
