Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez fans have been following the saga of their Beverly Hills mansion for a year. Here’s the latest on what the exes are doing with the luxury property.
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s once‑shared Beverly Hills mansion — a lavish 38,000‑square‑foot estate they purchased together in May 2023 for $60.8 million — was publicly listed in July 2024 for $68 million, shortly before Lopez filed for divorce on Aug. 20 of that year. Despite slashing the price to about $59.95 million after nearly a year on the market, the ultra‑luxury property, complete with 12 bedrooms, 24 bathrooms, a full sports complex, boxing ring, and 12‑car garage, failed to draw a buyer. Following the couple’s divorce finalization in January 2025, both have moved on. And more recently, the couple removed the mansion from the market.
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez removed their Beverly Hills mansion from the market after failing to sell
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have officially taken their $60 million Beverly Hills mansion off the market, marking a strategic pivot after nearly a year of unsuccessful sales attempts. Purchased in May 2023 for roughly $60.8 million and publicly listed for $68 million in July 2024, the palatial 38,000-square-foot estate — featuring 12 bedrooms and 24 bathrooms — failed to attract a buyer even after an $8.5 million price cut. The decision, described by insiders as a mutual business move, reflects the challenges of selling ultra-luxury real estate in today’s seller’s market.
Since finalizing their divorce in January 2025, both have relocated — Lopez to Hidden Hills, and Affleck to Brentwood. According to Realtor.com, it’s unclear if Lopez and Affleck want to keep the property after the failure to sell. Alternatively, they could’ve struck a deal with a buyer off-market.
Previously, TMZ spoke with an insider who said the exes were willing to lose millions on the home if they could get it off their hands. It’s unclear if that’s still the case or if Lopez and Affleck hope to keep the house until they can either break even or make a profit.
