Bella Hadid and her boyfriend, Marc Kalman, have called it quits after two years of dating.
“They were very in love, but the relationship ultimately ran its course and they decided to end things,” a source told ET on Wednesday.
“Bella is a very nice person, but struggles with the pressures of fame. She has been trying to take care of herself since their split.”
The insider further said that Hadid and the art director — who went public with their relationship in 2021 — broke things off sometime in the spring.
The model’s breakup comes as she faces health issues that prompted her to go on “medical leave” for her Lyme disease.
The 26-year-old has reportedly been receiving “daily treatment” for the “past four months.” Some reports had incorrectly claimed Hadid — who is sober — was in rehab due to drugs and alcohol.
“Nine months ago, Bella decided she wanted to stop drinking, so she stopped,” a second source told ET.

“She has been sober for nine months and has never had an alcohol or drug problem. Bella is not in rehab.”
Bella and her brother, Anwar Hadid, were diagnosed with Lyme disease in 2012. Their mother, Yolanda, was diagnosed as well.
Per the CDC, Lyme disease is spread through the bite of an “infected black-legged tick” and can cause symptoms such as “fever, headache, fatigue, and a characteristic skin rash called erythema migrans.”
Infection can also spread to “joints, the heart and the nervous system” if left untreated.
It is unclear if Bella’s medical challenges played a role in the couple’s split.
A rep for Bella did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
