Beach Boys’ Brian Wilson, 81, ‘suffering from dementia’ as team ‘files for conservatorship’ weeks after wife’s death

BEACH Boys co-founder Brian Wilson has been placed under a conservatorship and diagnosed with dementia weeks after the death of his wife.

The musician has had a history of mental health issues and is believed that he won’t be able to take care of himself.

The filing says he is suffering from a “major neurocognitive disorder (such as dementia),” according to court documents, reported by The Blast.

The agent for Wilson’s touring company and long time publicist was listed on the filing.

Wilson is being treated for the disorder, according to the filing.
