The American singer first discovered music when his grandmother introduced him to the piano before he learnt the guitar.
Barely Breathing was released as part of Duncan’s self-titled debut album that was certified gold.
As it climbed the charts, the track even earned the singer a Grammy award nomination and later won.
But these days, Duncan, who is now 54, sports a completely different look.
He’s not been without his own personal problems, having battled alcohol addiction.
In 2011 he was forced to cancel concerts as he entered rehab, which happened to be on the same day as his album Covers 80s dropping.
The New Jersey native was pictured last year as he showed off his longer hair and greying beard.
In November 2023 he performed two shows in New York in a local pub.
Over the years Duncan has turned his hand to writing songs rather than singing.
In 2012 he penned Alice By Heart, which was an adaption of Lewis Caroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.
