ASHLEY Cain has revealed the heartbreaking reason he’s lost “a stone in a week.”
The former footballer recently admitted to feeling “so lonely but at other times so guilty” following the tragic passing of his daughter Azaylia, who died from a rare form of leukaemia aged eight months in 2021.

Ashley, 33, has now dedicated his life to raising funds in her honour.
He shared Azaylia with ex Safiyya Vorajee and, earlier this month, told of the “guilt” he feels after revealing he is set to become a dad for the second time.
This sparked Safiyya to exclusively reveal how the pair’s split was “quick and brutal.”
With tensions clearly high, Ashley has revealed the toll on his body with the huge weight loss.
He donned shorts and a running jacket for an Instagram snap showing him posing with his brother and cousin.
In his caption, he wrote: “Yesterday was a good day.
“My brother was back from injury and my cousin was back from Thailand and we had our first team training session in about two months which was just what the doctor ordered.
“Due to my relentless training load, my intense work and travel load and the recent stress load, I have lost 6kg (one stone) in the last week.
“Trust me, there hasn’t been enough hours in the day, even to eat more than one meal. Side note: I was trying to lose weight anyway (Glass always half full).”
He added: “Even though it has been mega tough, I have stuck to the plan and every commitment that I’ve had because no matter the storm that comes our way, it doesn’t have to change the destination that we’re going…

His changing figure comes after Safiyya also exclusively told The Sun that Ashley stood at Azaylia’s grave and asked to have another baby.
In response, the Ex On The Beach alumni said “recollections may vary.”
Safiyya previously told us how Ashley, who also appeared on reality shows Ex On The Beach and The Challenge, initiated their split.
She told The Sun on Sunday: “He’d had a drink, it was quick and brutal. He said he couldn’t do it any more.”
He moved out of the family home in Nuneaton, Warwickshire.
The pair had been struggling with grief after losing Azaylia to cancer two years ago.
Former Coventry City winger Ashley and Safiyya, founders of The Azaylia Foundation, raised more than £1.5million to fund her specialist treatment prior to her tragic passing.
