FIDDLER On The Roof star Chaim Topol carried out missions for Israeli secret service Mossad around the world, his family have revealed.
The Israeli actor whose most famous role was as Tevye the milkman in the 1971 movie musical, died last month aged 87.

His son Omer said: “Dad was involved in secret missions on behalf of the Mossad.”

OLD Blue Eyes apparently worked as a secret courier for the CIA, his younger daughter Tina has previously claimed in a TV interview.
She recalled: “Because he controlled his own air travel, [the CIA] would ask him and many others with that capacity to courier a body – a living person, you know, not a corpse, but a diplomat – or papers.”


But she said the singer, who died in 1998, never revealed any names.
