ACTRESS Ariana DeBose drowned her sorrows on a night out at London gay club Freedom following the backlash against her Bafta performance.
The West Side Story Oscar-winner was seen letting her hair down in the Soho venue on Wednesday evening after she was mocked for her performance at Sunday’s ceremony.

Ariana had rapped a questionable self-penned song in which she named all the female nominees, as they shifted awkwardly in their seats.
Amid widespread mockery online, she suspended her Twitter account.
But she was all smiles as she hit the town, alongside a surprising companion in S Club Juniors singer Aaron Renfree. They are believed to have been introduced through his new line of work as a choreographer.
She will be back in London on April 1 for a performance at the Palladium – and she admitted she is uneasy about getting back on stage.
Speaking on this evening’s episode of The Graham Norton Show on BBC One, she says: “I am really excited and sensibly scared, but it is going to be fun. It is a gorgeous space and its energy is legendary.
“I can’t actually believe I have the opportunity to do something there. My show is a mash-up of everything I love. It is camp and fun.”

Nicole has been in the studio with Naughty Boy, who is producing the record, called Warrior, which will be her first album in nine years.
She has stayed tight-lipped on when it will be released but it’s likely it will finally come out later this year. She has a belting voice, so I’m sure it will be worth the wait.

The singer was named Best Dance Act at the Brit Awards this month for the second year in a row and is now working on her second album.

His debut single, Setting Sail On A Distant Horizon, is out today.
And it will be followed by album Lost At Sea.
Rob has previously worked as a restaurateur, boat builder and real estate broker as well as launching his own rustic furniture business.
He will play piano on the album, which is being released on June 9.

And he has enlisted the help of his daughter, too, who sings on two of the tracks.
Speaking about the first single, Rob said: “Setting Sail is a piano piece I composed about the happiness and freedom I felt as I would set sail out of Newport in my 25ft sloop.”

NOEL GALLAGHER went through heartbreak when his 22-year relationship with wife Sara MacDonald ended at the start of the year, but he is channelling that emotion into his music.
He has hinted that the pain inspired a forthcoming record, which he revealed will be his first ever acoustic album.

Speaking about the collection, he said: “It will be all new material, I’ve already started it. I’ve done about four or five tunes.”
He added: “It’s very sombre, as you can imagine. It’s not uplifting. It’s all written anyway, it’s just a case of whether I record it now or sit on it for another three years.
“One is really, really, really fantastic.”
Asked if it is a heartbreak song, he said: “I’ll let you decide that.”
Before that, he will release Council Skies, his fourth album with HIGH FLYING BIRDS, in June.
Speaking about one song on that record, called Dead To The World, he said: “It’s one of my favourite songs I’ve ever written.
“It’s quite a personal song. I guess when people hear it they will kind of understand why. But it’s about being too tired to argue.”
The ex-Oasis rocker gave an interview about his forthcoming releases to Radio 2’s Jo Whiley and also revealed he had been in the studio working on a project for Burt Bacharach shortly before his death earlier this month.
Noel said: “I did a couple of things with him just before he died and I’m not sure if they’ll see the light of day.
“I got invited down to some place in North London where they were re-recording all of his greats and he wanted me to sing This Guy’s In Love With You with an orchestra.
“He was meant to turn up but his flight was getting in late or something.
“I haven’t heard the finished version, but what a dude.”

She had completed work on the album last year but has now decided to get back in the studio to write more songs, pushing it back by months.
Asked about the record, a follow-up to her 2020 hit album Disco, Kylie told The Australian: “I can’t say too much about it as it is under wraps and isn’t finished yet, but the process has been so rewarding.
“Creative expression is such a wonderland, and I feel so lucky to have this opportunity once again.”
