During his current, months-long public crashout, West has made many nasty comments about Kardashian. He’s waffled between regretting having children with her and wishing to make a sex tape with her. Now, he’s returned to suggest he should have had kids with someone else. Recently, he said she should have pursued Paris Hilton instead of Kim Kardashian. Claiming his ex-wife, who is now a billionaire, was “just” Hilton’s assistant. Born into the Hollywood elite, Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton were friends long before Kardashian became her assistant. So, are they still pals?

How did the duo meet?

While Kanye West took another dig at his ex-wife by calling her Paris Hilton’s assistant, he knows the two didn’t just have a working relationship. They are longtime friends. Hilton and Kardashian have been asked about their friendship multiple times. Both have shared that they grew up with each other.

Paris Hilton discussed her connection to Kim Kardashian during a 2023 appearance on Call Her Daddy. Hilton recalled meeting Kim Kardashian when they were just kids. She said they spent time together as little girls because their mothers were best friends. According to Hilton, they reconnected in the early 2000s and began traveling together. Kim helped her move homes, with Hilton noting that Kardashian’s type-A, organized personality was a tremendous asset.

Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton’s paths diverged for a bit in recent years, but the friends never had a falling out. In fact, it appears that they are still quite friendly. They just happen to be busy people who aren’t often photographed together. Still, they do come together from time to time.

Most recently, they stopped for a photo together at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party in March. Despite her longstanding friendship with Kim Kardashian, Paris Hilton doesn’t appear interested in weighing in on Kanye’s most recent comments. That is probably for the best.
