Amanda Bynes goes for manicure in first sighting since psychiatric hold release

Amanda Bynes went for a manicure in her first sighting since her release from a psychiatric facility.

The “Amanda Show” alum stopped by Cosmo Nails in Toluca Lake, Calif., Wednesday for a fresh look, according to photos obtained by the Daily Mail.

Bynes sat patiently with her hair tied back in a small bun and a headband as a technician worked on her hands — and perhaps even observed with a close eye, as she was once enrolled in cosmetology school to become a manicurist.

Eyewitnesses told the British newspaper that the former actress smoked a cigarette while waiting for a car to come pick her up after the manicure finished.

Bynes, 37, was released from a mental health hospital Monday after being cleared by medical staff.

The “Easy A” star spent about three weeks in the facility and reportedly is now expected to begin outpatient treatment; however, she will remain in her home in an effort to maintain her independence.

A naked Bynes called police on herself at the end of March after spending days roaming Los Angeles.

Her ex-fiancé, Paul Michael, later claimed to Page Six exclusively that the “All That” alum had not been taking her medication before her psychiatric episode.

“She got off her meds, and she’s still off her meds,” he claimed. “She’s wild.”

Although Bynes’ 5150 hold was only supposed to last three days, it was extended so that she could focus on “getting better” in the mental health facility.

The “She’s the Man” star — who was previously diagnosed with bipolar disorder and has struggled with substance abuse — was freed from an eight-year conservatorship in March 2022.

Bynes’ parents are not considering another conservatorship despite her latest episode, reportedly calling the situation an “anomaly” in her ongoing mental health journey.
