Alicia Keys deleted an Instagram post expressing her desire to paraglide after sparking backlash amid the Israel-Hamas war.
The “No One” singer posted a photo of herself wearing a motorcycle jacket and asked her followers in the caption, “Question: What would u do if you weren’t afraid of anything??? Tell me your truth…. I’ve had my eyes on paragliding…”
The caption sparked a flood of commenters to call her out for her desire to paraglide, as Hamas terrorists paraglided into an Israeli music festival and murdered hundreds of innocent people.
Keys, 42, issued an apology to her Instagram Story after deleting the controversial post.
“The post I shared was COMPLETELY unrelated in any way to the recent devastating loss of innocent lives,” she wrote.
“My heart has been breaking…. I pray for and stand for peace.”
Famed music manager Guy Oseary also took to Instagram to defend the “If I Ain’t Got You” songstress, telling his 265,000 followers that she is in no way antisemitic.
