Alicia Allain dead – Dukes of Hazzard star John Schneider pays tribute as his filmmaker wife dies aged 53

JOHN Schneider’s wife and indie filmmaking partner, Alicia Allain Schneider, died Tuesday at their home in Holden.

Alicia, 53, was a native of Brusly and also a well-known music producer and hairstylist.

“My beautiful Smile is pain free, living in her new body alongside Jesus,” Schneider, 62, posted to Facebook on Wednesday.

Schneider often referred to his wife as “my Smile.”

“Lastly … hug those you love tight and let them know how you feel. We always did,” he ended the post.

According to The Advocate, a family representative also said the family is not commenting and requests privacy at this time.

Schneider’s former “Dukes” co-star, Tom Wopat, also took to social media to express his thoughts.

“I didn’t get any details, but I don’t need any to be aware of the pain and loss that John’s dealing with,” Wopat said on Facebook.

“My thoughts and prayers are with him, along with the thoughts and prayers of the entire Dukes nation. Alicia was a force in his life and his career, and she will be missed …”

Schneider’s heart-breaking post racked up more than 43,000 views, while Wopat’s message topped 11,000.

The Schneiders married in July 2019 at the barn on the studio property.

The couple has developed and produced many film projects, among them dramas “Anderson Bench” and “Like Son,” “Smokey and the Bandit” tribute flicks “Stand On It!” and “Poker Run,” the holiday movie “Christmas Cars” and most recently, the American flag-focused “To Die For.”

In addition to Schneider, she is also survived by a daughter and other relatives.

It is reported that services will be private.
