Alec Baldwin has thanked those in Montana for their support as he resumed filming “Rust” last week.
The actor, 65, shared a snap of himself from his latest film “Supercell,” co-starring the late Anne Heche.
“We filmed SUPERCELL in Billings. Now outside of Bozeman to complete RUST,” he captioned the post shared with his 2.5 million Instagram followers Monday.
“Montana is stunning. I’m grateful for all of the support I have received here,” he added, just days after involuntary manslaughter charges against the actor were dropped.
The Santa Fe County District Attorney’s office said it was dropping charges against Baldwin “without prejudice.”
The “It’s Complicated” actor was initially facing up to five years in prison, but scored a major legal victory when the Santa Fe District Attorney’s Office announced they were dropping the gun enhancement charge against him in February.
The “30 Rock” star was last week pictured holding a gun backwards after production for the indie-Western resumed near the Yellowstone Film Ranch in Paradise Valley, Montana.
Photos of the gray-bearded actor on set showed him dressed as rugged gunslinger Harland Rust, wearing high leather boots, gray pants and shirt with a button-up black vest and a bandana around his neck.
In photos obtained by The Post, his cuffs appeared to be blood-stained.

The film was initially halted after the on-set shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, 42, in New Mexico on Oct. 21, 2021, after Baldwin’s prop gun discharged a live round and struck her in the chest.
The film’s director Joel Souza was also wounded.
Before his formal charges, Baldwin denied any responsibility for Hutchins’ death and argued that he didn’t even pull the prop gun’s trigger.
Alec settled a wrongful death lawsuit with Hutchins’ family last year before filing a negligence suit against four crew members.

His complaint alleged that several crew members failed to maintain safety on set by handing him the loaded gun.
Last week, Hutchins’ family confirmed they will continue their civil lawsuit against the actor, even though criminal charges against him have been dismissed.
Legal reps for the family said Baldwin could not “escape from the fact that he had a major role in a tragedy.”
