Hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs is currently standing trial in a federal court in New York, facing serious charges including sex trafficking, racketeering, and prostitution-related offenses. The trial, which began on May 5, 2025, has already drawn significant media attention due to the disturbing nature of the allegations and the high-profile individuals involved. In the wake of the trial, people in Combs’ life are speaking out regarding how their lives have been threatened. Here’s what Al B. Sure! and Combs’ ex-bodyguard claimed.
Al B. Sure! says he ‘absolutely’ believes Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs had involvement in his 2022 coma
Al B. Sure! and Sean “Diddy” Combs share a complex and intertwined history that spans decades. Their connection began in the late 1980s at Uptown Records, where Al B. Sure! was a breakout star and Combs was an intern. Their paths crossed again through Kim Porter. Al B. Sure! married Porter and had a son, Quincy Brown. Porter later became Combs’ longtime partner, and he helped raise Quincy.
Despite their shared ties to Porter and Quincy, Al B. Sure! and Combs’ relationship has been marked by tension. Al B. Sure! has openly criticized Combs’ actions, suggesting that Porter had warned him about Combs’ potential threats to his safety. Additionally, Al B. Sure! hinted at a possible connection between Combs and his own 2022 coma.
Al B. Sure! spoke to Fox 5 New York in May 2025 about his upcoming memoir and Combs’ ongoing federal trial. During the interview, he mentioned how he believes his multi-organ failure in 2022 could be linked back to Combs.
“There was the most expensive PR campaign against me to shut me down,” he said. “If you knew, actually, knew what they did to me. There was a bounty on my head.”
The interviewers asked the R&B star if he believed Combs had something to do with it.
“I believe this to be the case, yes,” Al B. Sure! verified. “Absolutely. My first time saying it. … Remember, I’m the only one who spoke up. And I’m the only one who’s left alive.”
Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ ex-bodyguard, Big Homie CC, details poisonings and mysterious car accidents
Sean “Diddy” Combs’ ex-bodyguard, Big Homie CC, discussed Sean “Diddy” Combs’ federal trial with Piers Morgan. While on Piers Morgan Uncensored, the bodyguard detailed how he often finds his safety compromised now that he’s spoken out about Combs.
“Along this path, I’ve been poisoned three times,” Big Homie CC said. “My toxicology report showed cyanide. You know, cyanide metabolizes into pneumonia in your body. So, I’ve had pneumonia on three occasions. These problems didn’t start for me until I started to speak out about people like this.”
He noted that he had difficulty lining up his interview with Morgan. “The last time I was scheduled to be in this interview, randomly, our car gets hit from the side by a blacked-out vehicle — no license plate,” he continued. “That’s happened three times this month so far. Somebody didn’t want me to do this interview. I’m somebody where I’ve had FBI come to my house before and tell me they found a threat against my life. So, you know, I’m well-versed in this world.”
As for how he feels about Combs’ trial, he added, “It’s a good feeling for me to see the justice system prevail.”
Al B. Sure! and Gene Deal questioned Kim Porter’s death
Given Sean “Diddy” Combs’ trial, many folks want Kim Porter’s death investigated. Porter died of pneumonia in 2018. While speaking to Fox 5, Al B. Sure! says he doesn’t believe Porter would suddenly drop dead.
“Absolutely not,” he said. “She was in the best health.”
Gene Deal, Combs’ former bodyguard, said rumors emerged that suggested Porter’s casket was ordered two months before her death. He also said little investigation went into her death, and her electronics were confiscated. “Some people even said that her casket was ordered two months before she died,” Deal told The Art of Dialogue, according to Vibe. “I don’t believe that, man, I’m not no conspiracy theorist, but I heard …. How you order a gold casket two months before somebody die, man?”
